Pushpaka Vimana

पुष्पक विमान

The Pushpaka is the flying chariot made by Vishwakarma for Kubera, seized by Ravana and later used by Rama to fly home from Lanka to Ayodhya.

Borne byकुKubera

What is the Pushpaka Vimana?

Brahma gives Kubera the Pushpaka, a self-moving aerial palace that travels wherever its owner wishes. Ravana takes it after defeating Kubera, and Hanuman marvels at it during his search of Lanka.

After the war Vibhishana offers it to Rama. Rama flies north with Sita, Lakshmana and the vanara chiefs, pointing out the places of their journey, and stops at Kishkindha and Prayag. Once he is crowned he sends the chariot back to Kubera, its rightful owner.
