Who was Shrutakirti?
Shrutakirti joins the house of Ayodhya through the fourfold wedding arranged by Vishwamitra and Vasishtha. She is Shatrughna's wife and the mother of his sons Subahu and Shatrughati.
Like Mandavi, she has little voice in Valmiki's text. Later retellings place her beside the other queens in Ayodhya during the long years of Rama's exile.
