Who was Kushadhwaja?
Janaka sends for his brother Kushadhwaja when Dasharatha arrives in Mithila for Rama's wedding. At the wedding council, Vishwamitra and Vasishtha propose that Kushadhwaja's two daughters marry the other two princes of Ayodhya.
Janaka agrees with joy, and the four marriages take place together before the sacred fire. Through Kushadhwaja the houses of Mithila and Ayodhya are joined four times over.
