Who was Ruma?

Sugriva tells Rama that Vali not only seized his kingdom but also took Ruma as his own. This becomes Rama's chief justification for killing Vali: by taking his younger brother's wife, Vali had broken dharma.

After Vali's death Sugriva is reunited with Ruma and crowned king.
